Visa

Shuttle

• Shuttles to and from the airport will be organized on all arrival and departure days for your scheduled times. Please keep the information in your profile up to date!

• In the airport arrival hall, you will be welcomed by ground staff with Miltenyi signs. The shuttle service is organized by a professional agency and the personnel will meet you at your terminal and lead you to the shuttle. They are informed about your travel details and will monitor delays and adapt accordingly.

• Shuttle schedule for the departures will be available at the welcome desk of the Hilton Hotel.

• Shuttle time between airport and hotels is approx. 45 minutes.

Hotel

Please be aware there will be luggage checks at all public buildings, including hotels. This means you might run into some wait times when you first arrive at the hotel.

First step upon arrival at the hotel will be the check-in:
Please check in at the reception desk. Accommodation will be covered by Miltenyi directly. Personal expenses, such as mini bar, room service or drinks at the hotel bar, will be debited from your credit card and will not be reimbursed.
For questions or comments, please contact the orga team or go to the orga office located at level M2 Boardroom 2 (BRD Room 2).

The room allocation will be randomly assigned by the hotel reception desks.

Housekeeping

The Global Meeting is a business meeting. We expect all of you to actively participate in all sessions. Being such a large group from all over the world, we would like to ask all of you to get connected, be supportive and helpful to your colleagues and the organizers, share your ideas and experiences and set positive and energetic examples.

Outside dining & drinks: Have to be paid privately and will not be reimbursed.
Daily allowances: Please keep in mind that there will be no daily allowances paid for the business trip to Istanbul with dinner on January 17 till breakfast January 22.

Dress Code

Award dinner: formal attire.
All other Global Meeting days will be business casual.

Other

Any private extensions you want to make—whether it's at a hotel or for your flights—have to be paid for by yourselves. Cost for private extensions cannot be covered by Miltenyi.

Please be reminded that it’s winter season in Istanbul and it might be a bit chilly. So please make sure you pack some warm cloth and maybe a scarf.

Photo consent

Please note that photographs will be taken during the event. For close-up shots of individuals or small groups, the photographer will ask for your verbal consent. A selection of photos will later be shared on our intranet. By participating in the event, you agree to these terms and conditions.
